Hello! 

It’s been a while… but I have good reason for this and I’m going to get straight into it. I’ve had lots of big things and changes in my life. They’re all very exciting but also lots of energy too. So here we go here’s a round up of what’s been happening…

I passed my driving test! 🚗

Bloomin’ eck, after THREE years I finally passed. It’s probably been the most physically and mentally hard thing I’ve ever done. I know that sounds dramatic but it’s true. It’s also hard to admit when, as a disabled person, I always want to show that I just **get on with it** but in the next few blogs I’m going to deep dive into my experience as I think it will be helpful for not only other disabled pals but instructors too.

I’m having my home adapted! 🏡

You may have seen on this blog I’ve talked a lot about accessible housing and my journey. It took a while but I finally found somewhere with the basics. I made it work for now but ultimately I’m waiting for the flat to be adapted to me completely. And after two years – it’s nearly done! Again, I’ll go through the process in more posts but the main adaptations are my kitchen and bathroom. So watch this space for how I managed to get that sorted. I’m so bloomin’ excited!

I turned 30! 🥳

And finally, welp I’m officially 30 years old. For all that I’m being dramatic it actually feels great. Without sounding cheesy I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved in life so far. I’ve really settled into the mindset that there’s no timeline, my only timeline is what my body is comfortable with. I’ve got some amazing opportunities coming up. So I’ll end it with that clickbait and tell you more very soon 👀
