My Current Top 3 Face Wash Products
If you don’t know already, as well as talking about disability – I like to dabble in a bit of lifestyle stuff too. I’ve talked about skincare in the past such as removing make up depending on energy levels and past favourite products.
Today I thought I’d talk about my fave face washes. Obviously, I am no expert – but I have collected a ridiculous amount with my mum over the years and will tell you on a basic level what my thoughts are as an average customer (oh and since my last post – I now know I’m combination skin!). I love to feel pampered and washing my face with a bit of a treat makes me feel all fancy. Do you know what I mean? Anyway here we go and the top 3 are…

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
I’ve been hearing about this for SO long. Glossier seems like that kind of brand that everyone talks about, but it’s actually quite hard to get. You either have to go to a Glossier website or go into their store (which I’m not actually sure where they are apart from London). Anyway, big thanks to my friend Jess, I finally have the famous milky cleanser as a Christmas present.
I’ve been using it since Christmas and I’ve got to say it does feel nice. It’s one of those that’s very gentle and you feel refreshed after. I would say it’s not one for hardcore removing your make up, personally. But it’s really nice as a go to, morning and nice freshener. The pump is relatively easy, (as someone who has arthritic hands) but needs some strength to pump. All in all, it’s a really nice day to day face wash that I will definitely repurchase once it’s finished.
A good everyday wash that’s worth the hype

Origins Frothy Face Wash
I got this as part of gift set when attending a Glamour event last year. I’ve always loved Origins and have used their products from being a teenager. There’s something about them that always feels like you’re putting natural products on your face. Anyway, this face wash’s smell is right up my street. It’s got an almost minty smell, which makes you feel really clean. Before I actually read the label, I noticed that this wash was really good when my face was particularly oily. I read the bottle after and the fact that it says ‘balances’ kind of makes sense as I felt like my skin was calmer after using it. So if you have particularly oily skin and don’t mind treating yourself, I’d definitely give this one a go.
The one that smells and feels like you’re fresh as a daisy

Caudalie Purifying Gel Cleanser
I sound like a right jammy dodger but I also got this free at the Glamour event last year (I love a good freebie and put them to good use). I have never used Caudalie and really didn’t know what to expect. I usually like a face wash that properly froths so I wasn’t sure how the gel would go. It was really weird at first as it really is a clear gel, but wow. It was like I’d polished my face! I sometimes get a build up of skin (sounds gross sorry) that sometimes feels like I need a good scrub. When I used this, my forehead was honestly shiny! I don’t know what it does but out of the three, this definitely felt like it did the most work. It’s now my go to when I’m feeling like my face need something extra.
The one that makes you feel brand new!
Anyway, hope you enjoyed that little round up, do you have any other suggestions for me to try? Let me know and I’ll try and find a sample somewhere ha ha.
