My Top Makeup Minis

What is it about mini makeup that sucks you in and makes you want to buy them? For me it’s the fact that they’re much more my size, but also great to have in your bag instead of a massive make up bag. I also really like to use minis to try makeup, before I invest in the full size. So in this post I thought I’d share my top mini makeup products that I use pretty much every day.

Pixi Glow Tonic

So I’ve talked about this before so I won’t ramble on about it. But this for me makes sure my face is ready for my make up. My face is quite textured and this just gives me a bit more of a smooth canvas before I start my routine. It also smells lovely too!

It Cosmetics CC Cream

This is my new favourite beauty product. You know those days where you want to wear make up but not too much? This is perfect for those days. This is actually quite full coverage for a cream but it doesn’t feel cakey. You don’t need much to get a nice glow and the size of the bottle is perfect for just slipping into your bag for weekends away.

Hoola Bronzer

I’ve been using Benefit’s Hoola bronzer for years now. It’s the perfect shade for me to have a nice warm glow. It blends great and I haven’t yet found a bronzer that competes with it for the quality and price. I got this little one with a set so I can’t find the exact one to link, but I reckon with Christmas around the corner, there will be more to come!

Benefit Roller lash and liner

Another mention of Benefit, this time for eyes. I love the ‘Roller’ collection. The mascara first of all is my go to for any work days. The brush catches my eyelashes and coats them evenly without looking too going ‘out out’. Whenever I wear it, I get questions asking if I have lashes on, so it definitely makes my lashes stand out.

And the liner – ooft. I’m very picky about my eyeliner so when I tried this I was pleasantly surprised. The colour is jet black which I love. I really dislike it when you buy an eyeliner and it’s not quite black. The consistency is very much felt tip pen like, and the nip is soft and bends to the shape you’re drawing. I love it as it doesn’t feel like you’re dragging your eye out – which is always nice.

Milk Primer

I used to feel a bit suspicious of primer and wonder if it actually did anything. But, when I tried this I really noticed a difference of how my foundation set and stayed on for much longer. My face is naturally not very hydrated so I think this for me is perfect as it feels like thin gel rather than thick cream and smooths in very quickly – great when you’re in a bit of a rush!

Milk Hydro Primer and Mac Velvet Teddy

Mac Mini Lipstick

I’ve always wanted to buy a mac lipstick but every time I’ve gone to look – I’ve been torn on what to spend my money on. Then I saw on Asos that they did mini Mac lipsticks and I thought this was perfect to try and see what colour looks good. I ended up getting the infamous Velvet Teddy and love it. It goes in my chair side pouch so whenever I’m ‘out out’ I can quickly apply a layer when needed! Honestly, the cute size of the lipstick makes it even better.

Do you have any of these or suggest any other minis I need to get? Let me know and I’ll add it to my list!
