Max & Harvey, Brain Dump and Motability | What I’ve been up to lately…
It’s been quite a busy time for me over the last few weeks, which I’m very grateful for. If you follow me on social media you will know that I’ve been featured in a few cool things. I wanted to put them all in one place so if you wanted to catch up at any point – they’re all here.
For full disclosure, the ones with (AD) next to were the ones I worked with them as a collaboration and was paid to create the content.
I’ve really been trying to push myself this year and share a little more of my personal life and thoughts (whilst also having healthy boundaries of course). I do believe that once you start talking about the things you go through, there’s probably going to be loads more who can relate to you too. So here’s a few things I’ve been featured in recently:
I was absolutely honoured to be a guest on Max and Harvey’s Podcast, School Daze. They really are a lovely pair and we had such a giggle. We mainly talked about shielding, dealing with everything going on at the moment as well as just a general chit chat!
This is the one I was most nervous for as it’s completely out of my comfort zone. Brain Dump is a podcast Conor created in order to gain insight into so many peoples’ lives and experiences. He was a fab host and I shared things I’ve never really felt able to before including life as a disabled person, assumptions they come with as well as asserting boundaries. It was a deep dive that I really enjoyed!
As well as it just being a little busy at the moment – it’s also Disability History Month! This year I was asked by WheelAir to share my thoughts on the month and why we ultimately need to highlight it.
The most fun update is that I can finally show you my baby! ha which is my glorious car. I’ve talked a lot on social media about how it’s already changed my life having a car with hand controls – so in these articles you can see more of how it all looks! I’m also hoping to do a car video tour soon so I’ll share that when it’s up!
This is just a bit of a silly one but I actually uploaded a fun video last week reviewing some wellbeing products I’ve been using. I know with everything going on at the moment it’s a lot. So, although I do like talking serious – sometimes it’s nice to just switch off so I thought I’d share something a bit more chill.
Phew! I think that’s it for now. As always thank you so much if you’ve looked at any of these. It will never not be amazing to be able to share this kind of stuff with you and I LOVE it. I hope you’re doing as ok as possible and I’ll be back soon!
